The Office of Communications provides a wide variety of internship opportunities that range from marketing to software development with the opportunity to grow under an Office of Communications employee based on your internship.
All internships will begin Winter Quarter 2024, you will be emailed within a week of the application closing confirming a spot to interview or you will receive an email informing that you did not move forward.
All internships are unpaid and range from 3-5 hours a week depending on the position.

Web Design Internship Application
ASUW is seeking a motivated and creative Web Design Intern to assist in the redesign and maintenance of ASUW websites. This internship offers the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Communications, Tech Admin, and Webmaster to improve the online presence of ASUW and ensure its digital communication aligns with our mission and values. Allows for the Intern to also build their portfolio and work on expanding professional skills with the Directors help.
The PR Intern will find creative ways to explain and inform the student body on events happening on campus through an ethical viewpoint. The PR Intern will partake in media relations with fellow ASUW entities, UW clubs, groups and individuals with the purpose of relaying the information to the Office of Communications Director and formulating a PR plan on relaying this information back to the student body.

Graphic Design Internship
The Graphic Design Internship with the Office of Communications presents the opportunity to grow your current skillset as a designer, to build your portfolio and to work under our resident Visual Designer who will help guide you through projects, design requests and navigating different graphic design software.
The Photography & Videography Internship with the Office of Communications offers the opportunity to grow your skillset as a photographer/videographer, to collaborate with a team of creatives, take photos & videos of our events and build your portfolio as you work under our resident Multimedia Curator.
